Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By making a reservation with World Blue, you agree to all our terms and conditions
Not a Tenancy Agreement: World Blue Pty Ltd, an M-Power Accommodation Pty Ltd company, (World Blue) grants the occupant(s) a licence to occupy the accommodation on the terms of the booking period. This agreement does not and is not intended to create a residential tenancy agreement or any rights that are attached to such an agreement. As mandatory and regular cleaning is performed, our accommodation offer is that of a serviced apartment, and not a residential tenancy lease.
Access: Cleaning, Maintenance and Management staff of World Blue maintain the right to access the apartment. Wherever possible permission for World Blue staff to enter the apartment will be sought in advance from the occupant but may not always be possible.
Payment: Invoices must be paid by the due date. Failure to pay on time may lead to eviction with no notice period required. Bookings of duration longer than one (1) month will be billed monthly in advance. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, direct debit, bank deposit, electronic funds transfer and cash. Payment by cards incur a 2% surcharge fee.
Inclusions: Rates include applicable taxes, modest utilities being electricity, gas and water and complimentary WIFI. Any electricity, gas or water bills incurred that are deemed to be excessive (at the discretion of World Blue) are payable. The 'average' electricity bill for a Studio/ One Bedroom Apartment is $300/quarter, Two Bedroom $400/quarter, Three Bedroom $500/quarter.
Set-Up: Apartments are self-contained and fully furnished with linen and towels, utensils and cooking implements provided.
Cleaning: Please treat all our apartments with respect and care and leave them in a reasonable condition. If apartments require extraordinary additional cleaning on check out, any costs incurred as a result will be charged. Including steam cleaning carpets, removal of excessive rubbish etc. If you choose to pay for a weekly or fortnightly cleaning service, you authorise the Cleaners to attend the apartment as required.
Amenities: Amenities are available on arrival and will not be refreshed as part of the cleaning service.
Additional Extras: Bed linen, towels, mattress, cots, high chair, blender, coffee machines, can be provided at an additional cost.
Arrival and Departure times: Check in from 2 pm and Check out before 10am. To guarantee an early arrival you need to book and pay for the night before; otherwise it is subject to availability. Departure before 10am on the day of departure is required to avoid additional costs, unless it is previously arranged and subject to availability.
General Information: All queries are to be directed to us at World Blue on 9381 2361. The front desk reception areas and Concierge staff have no information about your stay or about your apartment. Please contact us for all enquiries.
Luggage storage: Is not provided onsite at any of the apartment buildings prior to apartment entry or departure. We are happy to store your luggage at our city office. Please contact us for more information on this service. World Blue takes no responsibility for the safekeeping or otherwise of guest luggage. Travel insurance is recommended as World Blue is not responsible should the items be included but not limited to: lost, stolen, damaged or otherwise.
Lockouts and loss of security cards and keys: In the event you lock yourself out of the apartment, you will be charged AUD$200.00 to be let back in. If a locksmith is required, an additional on the spot fee of AUD $200.00 must be paid prior to entry. If either the security card or keys are lost or damaged, you will be charged AUD $180.00 to replace them.
Occupancy and Usage: Our apartments are to be used for residential purposes only. Functions, parties, excessive noise, loud music or rude behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in the cancellation of your booking without refund. Occupancy must not exceed the number as stated on the reservation.
Smoke Detectors: Are in every apartment and are sensitive and will be set off by any smoke. Ensure the extractor fan is used to vent excess fumes. DO NOT open apartment front door to vent excess fumes into the corridor. Either open a window or the balcony door. Fire brigade call out fee in the event of a false alarm will be the guest's sole responsibility and is not less than AUD$1765 (as at 2017).
Lost Property: Please note all personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the guest. We accept no responsibility for belongings that are lost or damaged. Lost property items that are found will not be kept and are not the responsibility of World Blue.
Public Areas: Please ensure all guests follow building rules and instructions. Glass and the consumption of alcohol and smoking are forbidden in all public areas at all times, including gym, swimming pool etc. Failure to comply in the first instance will result in a warning, and any subsequent instance will cause the booking to be immediately cancelled. Please ensure your balcony, windows and doors are locked for the safety of all guests. World Blue cannot be held liable should this advice be ignored.
Emergencies and Safety: Dial 000 in the event of an emergency. In the event the building fire alarm activates, or any other announcement made, you must follow all buildings managers instructions and/or fire alarm evacuation orders. Please familiarise yourself with your nearest fire exits upon entry to your apartment.
Travel Insurance: We recommend you purchase travel insurance to insure against any loss during your stay.
Damage and Breakage: The occupant of one of our apartments agrees to pay for any breakage, damage to or loss of any furniture, fittings, and/or equipment in the apartment, its common areas and/or its contents and agrees to provide credit card details as payment for any such occurrence. This includes wind and rain damage if doors or windows are left open. World Blue is not responsible for any damage to your vehicle or any other vehicle while in the garages of our buildings.
